If there is a lettered Carrie announcement tomorrow, What time will it be at?

as in, when will the announcement most probably drop in Eastern Time?

I mean no offense, I'm just curious, but why if you are willing to drop more or less $2,000.00 on a King S/L reprint would you not spend the same for a one of a kind King signed and Maitz remarqued book? Not trying to call anyone out or anything. Call it "Market Research". Just want to take the "Temp" so to speak for next year. Is the title the driving force? If so, I will try to focus more on that next year for the new "Haven Fund Whore".

Merely Curious. If you think I have $2K to drop on a lettered Carrie (instead of or in place of a Charity auction remarque), then you don't know me very well . I'd like to watch the Circus, though.

Ill shoot you a pm so we can discuss this post and research/ideas for next year.

My IPad has a different web page than my PC and my iPad does not give artist editions as an option
Anyway, here is what the iPad page shows:

"Because we failed to meet the high demand on both Christine and Pet Sematary we’ve increased our numbers with this hugely important milestone in genre fiction to one thousand copies of which 974 will be housed in a full-colour slipcase like the first two titles in this Anniversary series. The additional 26 oversized lettered copies will be individually remarqued by Glenn Chadbourne and will be issued in a custom-made illustrated traycase. We’re still considering other material to include but we’ll make an announcement closer to publication."

Anybody have anything else?

Yesterday I took a closer look to both editions (Christine & Pet Sematary) and decided to sell them. Not the quality I expect from a gift edition.

Really starting to regret buying the Christine and pet sematary. If anyone wants matching numbers I have number 118 for sale. Christine and pet sematary.

That's been up since the book was announced. I don't think anything new has been posted.

I think alot of people share your opinion! I am keeping mine just for peace of mind. I dont want to regret it later on. but given current sales figures (real or imagined) I cant see them continuing much longer!

I bought PS Pub's Christine and Pet Semetery. I was having a hard time trying to motivate myself into purchasing Carrie and have kept putting it off. And that was BEFORE Cemetery Dance made their announcement. Now I may never order this edition, unless the price drops materially.

I'm not confident in their "cart hack" numbers. Christine was accessible for some time and then just suddenly went out of print. I think it has to do with other retail sales as some have mentioned, and just a sloppy check out system.

PS wouldn't have increased their number of copies for Carrie for no reason. Pet and Christine were both strong sellers, there's been no evidence to assume otherwise for Carrie. I think more people want to keep up with the series than it seems from here. I, for one, do. I know a couple others personally who are not part of this community, there are a few hundred others too, obviously.

Since we are at the forefront of what will probably be an inundation of anniversary reprint gimmicks. I just has the scariest visual of the Salem's Lot Gift Edition.... If instead of being of relatively basic design (with superb quality materials), it came with a gigantic wraparound DJ cover illustrated by Mr. Chadbourne...with identical wraparound illustration on the book boards itself (like Lisey's Story). YIKES!!!

The same happened to me. Maybe I had high expectations both for Christine and Pet Sematary but with the exception of the cover artwork for Christine (which is SUPER) both editions were not up to my expectations and can't be compared to any other gift edition produced. So I never made up my mind about getting (or not) Carrie anniversary, and when CD announced theirs, well...problem solved.

So i can stop checking there website every hour! I think you all know which book i am talking about! I hope there are not more than 26 of us looking for that particular book!

If it is signed by King.... I am going for it. I think my breaking point will be 2k. Will you go for it? I sure hope that there are less than 26 of us. haha
