The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????
All of Chuck on Netflix? Oh fuck the hell yes
If you love me then love me..
Not on Netflix UK, sadly. On November 24, remind me to be extremely fucking envious of you!
Right now, continuing my ongoing Who marathon. Starting season 3 of the Sarah Jane Adventures. It's definitely lighter than Doctor Who, being aimed more at kids, but not as light as I was expecting. The Trickster episodes especially are great stuff.

Well, I shall remind you then. Wait, why are you envious?
If you love me then love me..
I've seen at least half the first season and really enjoyed what I've seen. I've got Netflix, but Chuck isn't on Netflix UK, so I don't have the option of watching it instantly. I'm just envious of the fact you've got the whole of it on Netflix US.

Ah, good point my friend. That does suck not being able to watch such a great show
If you love me then love me..
watching: We Are What We Are, a 2013 horror
40 minutes in, and they all keep talking in a fucking half-whisper!!! It's not like they have to whisper, it's obviously to make them sound more "natural". FUCK! Nothing can be more frustrating than this when you're watching a film in a foreign language.

You know, I'm beginning to understand why you love LoM as much as I do more and more, Jean. Ok, so you may need subtitles to cope with the VERY strong Northern accents from time to time, but at least you always get plenty of good volume. Especially from the Manc Lion Gene Hunt himself.

I'm watching Archer on Netflix, over and over again. It's a cartoon (or I guess an animated show makes it seem more mature) but it is most definitely not for kids.
Yeah, I've seen bits of that. Looks great. Definitely will need to watch more of it once November is over and done with.

WRN: The Waters of Mars, one of Tennant's last episodes as the Doctor and definitely one of his best. Why I love this show: only in Doctor Who could fucking water be so fucking creepy!

yes, it is
no, it's not bizarre, it's boring like hell. They wanted to do something big and beautiful and full of meaning, and ended up with something small, drab and pointless. Managed to dupe Rotten Tomatoes, though, where it stands at an incredible 85%

One of Tennant's standout eps there. And I agree, creepy as hell!
I have seen Lost in its entirety, but never owned any of it until recently when I picked up season one and two for cheap at a local used DVD/Blu-ray store here. Finished season 1 and watching the special features disc; showing the casting and auditions.

Just finished Tennant's era, now moved onto Matt Smith's run in season 31 of Doctor Who. Still not too keen of the Tenth Doctor's portrayal in The End of Time, but Smith's introductory ep The Eleventh Hour (you see what they did there? ) more than makes up for that. Still amazes me just how much he instantly "gets" the role. And I always love seeing the Doctor getting used to a brand new body.
