He is! He used to do quite a few stints on shows that British comedians had on tv too. Like y'know, come on with his guitar and do a number - I really like him, he's like a more cheerful Ralph McTell

I had to look up who Ralph McTell was, but after some reading about him now I get your joke. It makes me think of Neil doing his Dylan-like "Protest Song" on the Python album Monty Python Live at City Center.

I was totally humming along with California Dreamin when I stopped and thought - where the heck did this come from ?!? Too funny. Must be on a compilation or soundtrack or something.
Um, I gauge everything by you. It's how I get through my day.

Perhaps I should change my member title to "Turtlex's Barometer"?
Nah, make it a spectrometer or a rheometer or something fancy

Done. I don't know what a rheometer is but it reminded me of Rhea, so that was out.
NP: Humanoid Boogie - Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band
Wow, that and telling me to stay "gold" - today Jayson is so rockin my world !!!
NP : Message To Myself - Melissa Etheridge

Well if I were George Costanza and I was working on showmanship I'd bow out now and say you've been a lovely audience...
You'd also be called Art Vandelay and an architect or possibly working for an import/export company!

Excellent! Nice screen name too. Best guitar player ever (and with two less working fingers than the rest).
One of my favorite of his and Bernie's songs. Not the later "sequel" he did for it though, that thing sucked.
NP: Misery Is the River of the World - Tom Waits
That Django is cool too.
Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters = my favorite EJ song. Hands down. The original. Nothing else.

I think my favorite would be "Amoreena" but "Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters" is way up there towards the top of the list. Remember when we were discussing double-tracking vocals in the "Best Singers" thread? "Mona Lisas..." is the quintessential example of how Elton John excels at this technique.
