I am loving Andor. The characters, story, set... All top notch. I am up to date a well.
But I did not see Tales of the Jedi. I guess I go back and watch that after Andor. How
many episodes are left in Andor and is there going to be a second season?

Disney+ is celebrating its third birthday by giving a present to fans of The Mandalorian.
The streaming service announced Friday that it will celebrate its own third anniversary and that of the Emmy-winning Star Wars series with the release of a new original short focused on Grogu, aka Baby Yoda, the show’s breakout character.
Zen – Grogu and Dust Bunnies, premiering Saturday on Disney+, is a hand-drawn animated short hailing from Japanese animation studio Studio Ghibli. Katsuya Kondo directed the project, which features music from Ludwig Göransson. Key art can be seen below.
Disney+ launched on Nov. 12, 2019, and The Mandalorian debuted on the same day as part of the platform’s first wave of original content before immediately becoming its signature series. Created by Jon Favreau, the show has since spawned spinoff series including The Book of Boba Fett and the forthcoming Ahsoka.
The third season of The Mandalorian is set to premiere in February 2023, and the first trailer for the new episodes dropped at Disney’s D23 event in September. The show’s cast includes Pedro Pascal, Giancarlo Esposito, Carl Weathers and Amy Sedaris.
“I’ve always loved Star Wars. I grew up watching Star Wars. The type of story that I wanted to tell really suited the small screen,” Favreau told the D23 crowd. “And it was also an opportunity to bring new people in who might not be up on all the lore. What we were most proud of was people were not just watching our show, but all of the viewership was going up for the movies and the animated series.”

Just finished the 10th episode of Andor - this show is so good. Easily the best of the Disney+ shows. Can't wait to see where they go with the final two episodes, and the second season of course. I need to go back and rewatch Rogue One, as so many characters are filtering in here.
The season finale of Andor was stunning. This has been some of the best Star Wars has ever done, including all of the movies.
Now that it's finished I'll give it a watch.

The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????
Does Andor get better? I waited until it was done until I started it, and have watched the first two episodes. I'm all for a slow burn, but I'm not getting into it. Does a plot show up any time soon?
I recently watched the first episode of The Mandalorian again, and the difference was stark. I found it much more engaging from the start.

I felt the same way but I'm glad I stuck it out. The action definitely picks up.
Mandalorian is a totally different show. I wouldn't really compare the two. Andor is slower but definitely darker in tone vs typical SW adventure in Mandalorian.
They're neck to neck IMO and what I prefer changes based on what I'm in the mood for.
I suggest watching it but that's just some dude's opinion.
I'm gonna binge Andor like crazy over the next couple of weeks. I took the last week of the year off.

So late to the party, but over the past 6 months I’ve finally watched the Clone Wars series.
How fucking good was that show? Now part of my most favourite SW stuff out there. It give so much more depth and understanding to a lot of current content being delivered.
If you haven’t watched it, go, now!
(Just watched the first episode of Bad Batch last night too, can see I’m going to enjoy that)
That’s great to hear! Make sure you follow up with Rebels.
I know you weren’t a fan, and maybe you could pick up the rest. I think just like with Clone Wars, the first season takes a while to get going but the second and third seasons are much better and the fourth season is just spectacular! And of course the upcoming live-action Ahsoka series is a direct sequel to Rebels. So I think it’s kind of essential.
