Been a huge King fan for years. Mainly because of the tv movies made from his stories. Especially Langoliers, Christine, and the miniseries Rose Red.
yes welcome and if they don't change it too much like they did with IT and follow the book more rather than invent their own shit and it's in the right hands i'm okay with that.
Welcome and enjoy the knowledge and freindship

Thank you for the warm greetings!
I am an accountant and consultant by trades and as such, when I first decided to collect books, rare economics books naturally appealed to me. There are thousands of books on economics, but the great schism/debate between Malthus and Ricardo peaked my interest the most, so I started my collection from around those two pantheons of classical economics!
After collecting those for some time, I decided to collect works that I enjoy the most (reading) and now, I am dedicating my fervor on all things Tolkien and GRRM (and perhaps, King since some of the books carry great works from both authors)!
Welcome Ratchet and the Antique one!
All that's left of what we were is what we have become.
thank you for the nice warm welcome
Hello, joined this weekend. Started collecting signed/limited books last year. My main focus on collecting are Robin Hobb and Steven Erikson. In my search I found this community. I was introduced to King books as a teenager through a paperback of The Shining which I read on a vacation to France and caused me sleepless nights until I was back home. My first experience of the power a book can have.
Welcome NiceM

For Hobb I’d have to choose beteren the original trilogy and Liveship trilogy. I’m a sucker for wolves so the Farseer trilogy wins.Welcome, NiceM! Can you let us know your favorite Hobb and Erikson work? Curious.
With Erikson it would be Memories of Ice. Currently re-reading so that could shift...
What about yourself?
