Still looking for Salem's lot signed/limited. Money is burning a hole in my pocket. HA!..please dont tell my wife that I said that.

Still looking for Secretary Of Dreams gift Vol 1. Thanks.
i have a signed limited i would sell for $400 but i dont have any gift editions left. i sold the two i had.
OK Gents, what I am about to type may offend some hardcore collectors, but I've made a decision to fill in a few blanks in my collection with BCE editions of those out of my reach for the time being.
I'm keen to pick up Fine/Fine, early edition BCE copies of the following:
- Carrie
- Night Shift
- The Stand
- 'Salem's Lot
As far as I am aware, there are still BCE editions printed the same year as the original 1st/1sts? If so, thats the year I'd like to grab, rather than later printing editions. Yeah I know, If it's not a 1st/1st, why would I care what year. Don't know why, I just do :-)
Anyway, I'm in no hurry, and am aware these are readily available on Ebay, and so this is really just a call to you guys, as I expect if anyone here has any they want to get rid of, I can trust that they will be in good condition.
Also, I'm aware that shipping from the US will probably cost more than the books, so I may be best to keep an eye on Ebay UK anyway.
Cheers
James
I don't think you can tell the year of printing on a BCE. In the case of 'SALEM'S LOT, the blurb on the front cover is different on early and later printings so that may help, but other than that... I'd just go for the best copies you can find. You could also try and find later trade printings with a DJ price etc. At least with these you can more or less guess how old they are.
Thanks Michaël, I didn't realsie that about the BCEs.
Yeah good point, just get the nicest copy I can find for a cheap price. I just want some place holders until I win Lotto or something
I grabbed a mint bce copy of carrie for about $10 or $15 or so on ebay last week. says copyright 1974 stephen king on inside page. right above that says library of congress. tired of searching for a true 1st/1st too. not that i wont grab one asap.

Good point. Not all BCE's are the same size as the original.
Cheers guys, I'll try and see if I can find same sized ones.
