I have the DMG cases, for authenticity sake, but I also have Tomas' cases for "The Dead Zone" (actually 2, one for the UK and one for the US 1/1) and COTW, which I really like. He does outstanding work on all of his cases.

I don't own any of Overlook's aftermarket slipcases. The production values may be of the highest quality. Of the ones I've considered, the reason I passed is because of the exterior artwork. It's simply a matter of personal preference and I find them unattractive.

Hey all - I'm considering selling my copy of LSOE (under 800). Can anyone give me some advise about how I could go about researching what the current market is? IDK how to search ebay for closed auctions and haven't been able to get any other info. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Story description from Amazon.co.uk
Product Description
For readers new to The Dark Tower, THE WIND THROUGH THE KEYHOLE is a stand-alone novel, and a wonderful introduction to the series. It is a story within a story, which features both the younger and older gunslinger Roland on his quest to find the Dark Tower. Fans of the existing seven books in the series will also delight in discovering what happened to Roland and his ka tet between the time they leave the Emerald City and arrive at the outskirts of Calla Bryn Sturgis.
This Russian Doll of a novel, a story within a story, within a story, visits Mid-World's last gunslinger, Roland Deschain, and his ka-tet as a ferocious storm halts their progress along the Path of the Beam. (The novel can be placed between Dark Tower IV and Dark Tower V.) Roland tells a tale from his early days as a gunslinger, in the guilt ridden year following his mother's death. Sent by his father to investigate evidence of a murderous shape shifter, a "skin man," Roland takes charge of Bill Streeter, a brave but terrified boy who is the sole surviving witness to the beast's most recent slaughter. Roland, himself only a teenager, calms the boy by reciting a story from the Book of Eld that his mother used to read to him at bedtime, "The Wind through the Keyhole." "A person's never too old for stories," he says to Bill. "Man and boy, girl and woman, we live for them." And stories like these, they live for us.
Sounds good to me!
Still no Grant preorder?
According to Ms Mod on the SKMB:
She didn't indicate whether this is the Grant date or the Scribner date (or both). The release date for The Wind Through the Keyhole has been bumped ahead and is now anticipated to be released on March 12, 2012.
John
Grant is released on February, so it's Scribner.

I'm hoping they'll release pricing information soon so that I know if the money I set aside will cover it. I put aside $600.00 for the Signed/Limited and two copies of the Artist edition. I was figuring the S/L will be around $400.00 and the Artist around $100.00 a copy. Hopefully it won't be much more than that...

Simonandschuster.com now has added a "Cover To Be Unveiled" flag to the image they had posted, which hopefully confirms that the generic image they were using is not the final cover.
Well, If anyone is selling a PC s/l in the future...let me know.
