If I'm not mistaken (and according to the "On This Day" feature of Facebook), today is the day seven years ago that Stu & Penny Tinker announced the closing of the physical Betts Bookstore. That was a sad day, I have so many memories of that store, but glad that our trusty caretaker David is around now!

Thank you! I am feeling ok but I'm taking it easy today, as much to placate my wife as anything else. Tomorrow I get the stent removed in afternoon and I hope tomorrow a normal day...then I'm off Saturday as I still plan to go to Wash DC for King event.

I decided to PASS on the Washington DC event...thought it best to 1) stay home and mend after my surgery 2) forego the 12 hour round trip drive 3) ditch the tolls required all the way (add to almost $100 total) 3) avoid the stress of parking, DC, so many people and 4) there would be only a minute chance of getting my Sphere proof signed anyway.....cost/benefit analysis tipped WAY in favor of staying home.
That said, if I get my shite together today, I have LOTS of new items to list and a BUNCH of price markdowns on some existing stuff.

Yes, David will get back to you, just have to play the waiting game. He has Sunday's off, and Betts is his second job which he fits around family commitments and some health stuff at the moment, of course. So... the excruciating waiting game. Do what I do... distraction activities between checking email at no less than 4 minute intervals

And Bad News (pretty sure)....my kidney stone has made another appearance as of 5am this morning....at least it feels that way. Not sure what I am going to do as surgery 6 days ago was a "swing and a miss" and now it seems to be back/stuck again...feel like crap. This just NOT FAIR!
