Agreed... now we can all feel bad about the second team with the longest drought in MLB history... the ones that lost last night lol Poooooooor Cleveland!

Just finished reading King's Cookie Jar and loved it! Matter of fact I love most of King's short stories; a lot more so over most of his novels or novellas. Which leads me to this question. Do you thing King would have been such a worldwide sensation if he had just written short story collections alone?
You don't know my kind.....You don't my mind.....Dark necessities are part of my design.....

    No.
    Spoiler:
His stories would be in men's magazines-up until 10+ years ago, then they would be online. King would be making $20K a year from the stories, and running a laundromat for another $20K.

I certainly don't think so. Don't get me wrong, his short story collections are fantastic but the novels are what drives the popularity there IMO

Thinking out loud...and online (dangerous). But I'm not sure what to do now. I've been on the fence with my collection for the last year. Part of me wants to liquidate everything and travel the world...and have a girlfriend in every location! Then the thought disappears and I buy more books...and I feel good again. But right now, the "feel good again" feeling seems to be more fleeting. I know this happens with many collectors but I can't seem to kick the urge to sell. I hope I wake up tomorrow with a better outlook on my SK collection.
