It's terrible as she was attacked by 4 pitbulls that broke a hole in our fence. My wife was home and saved her at the time (Friday), but she succumbed to the injuries last night while in my wife's arms.

I hate lousy pet owners! The owners of the pitbulls knew that their dogs would break out of their yard, and knew the dogs were a danger. Total negligence, but in California my dog is "property" and not a human being so there are no reparations for pain and suffering.

The good news is the adult pitbull who was primarily responsible was seized by animal control and after a hearing, will likely be declared a viscous dog and will be euthanized.

I'm really sorry to hear all that, Jerome. I'm glad the main culprit is being put down. Too bad we don't do that to the irresponsible owners. (Or at least make them suffer.)

Sorry about that Jerome. Those dogs must have been a real danger if they decided to attack yours... Hopefully they will not attack anything anymore : animal or human.

I'm sorry to hear this, Jerome. Dogs are like family and it's always tragic to lose one, but especially sad when you lose one under these circumstances....

I am pretty proud of myself.... I entered a contest to lose weight 1st of the year. It ended today. I just got back from the weigh out at the hospital. I came in 3rd and was a hair from winning... BUT i lost 53lbs! I am now 222 and still going to work to my goal over under 200. Either way my supper of cheeseburgers, and pizza was just amazing!!! I fasted for 4 full days before weigh out. Best meal I have ever had. Just thought I would share!!!

That's a 2K per day calorie deficit. Pretty much a starvation diet (or running a half marathon daily). Congratulations.

Yep, I ate super healthy and ran every day RF I also ate 800-1300 calories a day...

I ran four halfs last week. It sucked and was great at the same time. Actually, the shortest run was 21.1, the longest was 33.5. Roughly 110 km over four days. In decent time too, I stopped only to have a sip or two of Gatorade every 10 km.

I'm having trouble keeping weight on.

Thanks guys! And no one was chasing me Bri! Lol I just needed to lose some pounds and was tired of being big. I cooked all my meals and they were veggies and a lean mean or fish. Some days I ate fruit for lunch and breaky... I was hungry at times but learned to appreciate what I was eating. I want to live a long time.... I really really do. Love life. Haha love you guys too!!

A few years back, I weight up to 115kg without realising it. My alarm bell was one I wanted to do the sky diving voucher that my wife gave me, and that there is a limit allowed! After a few months or changing food habits and lifestyle, I went down to 95 which allowed me to do the bungee jumping. Now I am at 85 and want to go down to 80, and slowly working my way towards it.

It keeps making me thinking about Ricky Gervais' joke about the KFC buckets (!). I think that it's an interesting point : when do someone notice that maybe they should do something?

Anyway, congratulations! Way to go ! My only advice (but you dont need it since you're doing well), is do not starve yourself. Just eat more healthily, do regular sport and be patient. It's better for the body to take your time and working on it heathily, than trying to rush it.

They neighbors live 2 houses away. The dogs broke through two different fences.The wife is terribly upset as she witnessed the attack, and the dog died in her arms.
She truly is beside herself.
