Just got back from Italy, worst trip of my life; haven't cried that much since my Uncle Bill died when I was about 8. I'll say it again, dying really sucks. My wife gets back the night of the second, so likely won't be making the Cronin signing now on the 3rd, her birthday ... don't think she's going to be in much of a mood for that. Probably do a little family thing somewhere here in town; thinking of making her one of those Kodak (well, not Kodak anymore, Shutterfly now) photo albums online of her dad.

The online photo album is a good idea, but I think a better one might be an actual photo album, or maybe just a simple photo, framed, in the bedroom. Amber's mom died five or so years ago, and she has a very nice photo of her on our nightstand. I think it makes her very, very happy just having it there, to see every day.

Bill, Patrick is not Linus. Sorry, you'll have to keep guessing. I was off work last week for my sons' Fall Break. I took all three of my young children to Disneyland by myself. It was fantastic to have the week off with them all, but now I'm back at work and am still exhausted from my vacation. D'oh.

This year I did not take many consecutive vacation days, and as a by product of that, and the fact that earn 26 vacation days per year, this week is the last week of this calendar year that I will be working 5 days per week. 25 work days left this year!!!!!!
