This week-end, my boss is doing a mega-trail : 177km!
He was supposed to start about 2h30 ago, and should arrive on sunday.................. makes me think about "THE LONG WALK"!

I believe that his personal target is to do about 100km.. then it's a bonus

100km (his target) = 62 miles

That's an impressive distance!, I do a 42 mile walk (Lyke Wake Walk) each year which is the only exercise I get all year, id be pushing my limits adding another 20 mile to that and I couldn't do 110 miles without some serious training behind me.

Tomorrow, Sunday, the family is taking my son's girlfriend into the city (NYC) to see the play RENT, on off-Broadway...we have all seen it before but tix were like $49 apiece so we couldn't pass it up again. My whole family can likely do everyone's parts in the whole play...kinda fanatics on RENT.

We saw Spider-Man and Mary Poppins a couple weeks ago..discounted tickets on TKTS is the way to go.

Mary Poppins: Spectacular...the perfect Broadway musical. Songs, dancing, acting were all excellent.

Spiderman: A bloated mess without form or function. Deserves all the bad reviews. Glad I saw it, so I can snark about it now. The flying was meh - even Mary Poppins had flying, but they didn't act like it was the greatest thing ever. Had one good song, and some funny costumes, but that was it...

My 8th grade science teacher used to randomly give us these little riddles on a regular test. You'd be going along, question 17, Nucleus. Question, 18, umm, mitochondria? Question 19, ribosome... Question 20............ one of them is not a quarter? Is the other one a quarter? I say quarter and a nickel.

I would love to see some real plays. I've seen everything i can so far here in Vegas, and some of them are REALLY great, but it's not the same. There's no theatre program here.

I guess I'll just have to hold off for the Les Mis movie coming out later this year, lol.
