Yeah... a cold front for us is a day that only hits 98 degrees.

Ramstein is 10 minutes from K-Town, so yes you probably came here. Idar-Oberstein is just up the autobahn, maybe 30~40 minutes away. Big jewelery center, biggest in Germany for stone production I think.

Yeah, they shut down our post( US army, 6/29 FA) around 95. I didnt know that it was a big jewelery center..but thinking back..it makes sense. It was a big adjustment coming back to the states after being over there for years.

My family is originally from Schwalbach, a little town out side of Wetzla and not too far from Frankfurt in the north. They used to own and operate the local Gasthaus. However, things have changed. My Uncle, Hans, is a Captain in the Polizie and my Uncle Hienz is in medicine. Gisela, Han' wife is my blood relative and Hienz is direct.
