Thanks, guys! My wife and I moved in together seven years ago and until now we've always rented an apartment. So it's going to be a very big and welcome change to our lives.

Dan heb ik toch een voorsprong van 14 jaar, en dat met nog maar 38 lentes achter de rug!
Voor dat geld heb je hier ook geen twee-onder-een-kap. Misschien als hij compleet verwaarloosd zou zijn.

I am one step closer to my biggest debt ever - my wife and I are looking to buy a house and after only a week of negotiations the seller accepted our offer! Now we just need to arrange the mortgage loan and we'll be almost €300,000 in debt. Oh well...

If everything works out we'll move in December and who knows, maybe I'll be able to claim a proper library room!

On a less important note, me and my girlfriend travel a lot in the paris area on bikes (cycles, not motorbyke).
After about 4 years living our bikes at the same place when going to the cinema, a fucker today stole my gf's bike. Which didn't have any insurance apparently... freaking upset as we have a lot of expenses coming within the next few months so it's not the best time. :-(

BUMMER...But look on the bright side....They didn't steal your bike also & it's not everyday you can reenact a Classic Movie scene.

Congratulations. I know what it means to have a big debt because I also started a building of the new house a couple of days ago. I also planed a library in it I will posts some photos how it is proceeding.

the 70 Gremlin engine is installed, starts & runs... needs a little tweaking. Then it's on to the disc brake upgrades and rear end gear upgrade.
With the big cam/4 barrel carb... the 360 mopar V8 should be putting out close to 320 HP according to my motor guy.

Wow! What a crazy day. I'm coming home from meetings today and a gentleman and his son pulled right out in front of me. Even though airbags deployed when I broadsided them, no one was hurt. I have seat belt bruises on my chest, but that's it.

He got the ticket of course, but I still feel sorry for him. I think his son told him the road was clear.

Tomorrow will be a better day.

Recently I was reading through the "Your New Pride and Joy!" thread as well as some of the collections threads and I realized that (other than the signed Finders Keepers from Bridgton) I hadn't acquired anything new for my collection in quite awhile. I started looking around and bought a copy of 'Salem's Lot that I didn't really need but was nice, priced right and it felt good to buy it. Does anyone else do stuff like this? I am thinking I might have a problem.

The only thing stopping me from doing this is monetary. I've been really tempted to go after some of the proofs that are being offered, even though I already own them.
