Great photo! What it really needs is a single big dark or red eye opening up off to the left in the fur, or a big claw coming in from the side. Photoshop skills anyone?

Lol...that would be awesome. Hmm...red/black eye...or claw....hard decision but both sound good.

Remember that I managed to get 4 books signed while meeting King in Paris?
- 1 given away to me by the publisher, inscribed to me
- 3 signed at event : 1 magazine during the only signing event, and 2 at the end of a radio program with King to which i was invited.
I claimed that the magazine signed during the event was the true first french publication of King... I was totally wrong. I dont even remember why i thought it was. I was convinced that the 1st publication of CARRIE was published in september, while the magazine was issued in july.
Well. I dont remember what made me check, but... the 1st edition of CARRIE was published in April, so PRIOR to the magazine (which was released in July). I dont even know why i thought it was september. Nothing seems to indicate that!
It's a good thing that I didnt managed to ONLY get the magazine signed, thinking it was the 1st french publication of King !!! Let's just say that I still managed to get the first 2 french publications.
Another odd thing : the magazine is COSMOPOLITAN (july, 1976). Not only it's an abridged version of the novel... but NOWHERE in the magazine it says the name of the publisher, nor the publication date. Just... the text!
Anyway : I feel gutted that i was that wrong, and I do feel like an idiot! Especially since i dont even know why i was convinced by the other date.

"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King

WARNING..................SPOILER ALERT !!!!!
Spoiler:
Couldn't find the original masters artwork thread. Probably didn't look hard enough. Anyway Bernie Wrightson's art site has gone live again. Seems it has been under construction for a few years. Pretty good stuff.
