I have a link to get MILE 81... it works, but i cannot get it (when i click on checkout, nothing happens)...

I tried to download it too last night. Upon instructions from the Schuster site, I downloaded Adobe Digital Edition (free) first. Then download the King story. From the Adobe Reader, I imported the King Mile 81 into their 'library'. It seems to work.

I don't know the details of the deal he had with another member, but whichever person was right/wrong-misunderstood, when you do the "golden hair flip", it's time to go.

Can I just say how much I love collecting Lawrence Block books? I just bought a Scorpion Press S/L (#49 out of 99) of "The Burglar in the Library" for $45. This seems like a really nice book: http://www.ebay.com/itm/160640885843...84.m1423.l2649. There were no other bidders, so too bad the starting price wasn't lower. I also just bought a PS Publishing slipcased S/L of Block's "Random Walk" (still available directly for 50 pounds) for $23. I definitely like being on the right side of the supply/demand equation.

Three was a c ongtest at klou.com and some people were given opportunity to download 6 days early. And if you won you also were given a link to give a free download to one other person.

It was also ony open to US residents. Some foreign residents treid but I think in most cases they were denied. And the link for the free giveaway also seemd to have a lock on it. You could give away one and only one.

I did not get it. I really wanted it just to be one of the first to read it. That is always nice.

As a side note I have read The Lttle Green God of Agony due out later this month and that was pretty cool.

At first I did not care for it a bit, but being the pig headed fan that I am I kept reading; before I knew it I was into it and couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Totally satisfed at the end.
