Technically, we'll have a go or no-go in about 24 hours.
However, that'll be based on a presentation to top people in the company, about the work as it will be available in about 2 hours + some hotfixes that may have been done until tomorrow.

Travelling to Italy tomorrow, unfortunately under bad circumstances ... my wife's dad passed away on Tuesday. He had heart issues for a long time, but had just been given a clean bill of health and told he was doing fantastic. We're assuming heart attack, he was in his back yard painting shutters for the winter and he just dropped. Would have been 83 on Monday. Luckily I'm just finishing one job at work before starting another so they let me go no questions asked; I'll come back on the 24th, my wife and kids on Nov 2nd. She'll try and help her mom out a bit; they were married 51 years and I don;t think the reality has even come close to sinking in yet. Working my tail off trying to pull everything together for the travel; dropped $5.4K on four tickets last night ... so much for clearing off debt, there's always something that pops up. Death just sucks all the way around.

I just got my new computer up and running, so I can start posting more. My scanner isn't working yet (but I have the Geek Squad coming this Wednesday to transfer all the data on my old hard drive onto the new one), so I should be ready to start uploading some stuff then.
