Hodder will release GWENDY's in the UK as an hardback.
Do we know if that will be their own book with cover, or a co-printing with CD?

Is nobody discussing how great CD's THE SHINING is here yet? Maybe folks still don't have theirs yet. I live on the west coast so always assume my CD and Subpress books arrive last (got THE SHINING a week ago). Anyhow- another beautiful production (love the snow-white slipcase!), and the extra stuff is a real treat. Nice job, all.

Ah. Forgot that I got mine via Fed Ex. Perhaps I actually got mine a bit earlier than a lot of other folks. Ok then, trust me- you're all going to love it!

I believe we've shipped most of the International, UPS, and FedEx single gift editions. We're starting on USPS single gift editions now. Expect shipping to stall next week though and we'll be back on track the week after that.

I put one on. Although, for whatever reason, when I recently pulled it off the shelf- I noticed that the brodart was excessively "wavy". I've never seen that on any of my books before. I chocked it up to using a type of brodart that I don't usually; I have a pack that is more.. "silky" than "plastic-y", to use technical terms. Ahem. I'm sure somebody else here could better explain the different types of mylar and whatnot. Anyway, that more pliable type coupled with a little bit more of a snug fit with that particular book and slipcase seemed to produce that effect. I switched out the brodart to the other kind (more.. "crinkly" ), and so far so good.

It is quite pretty! Got mine in Dallas on Tuesday. I'll leave the shrinkwrap on if I want to keep it snow-white though!

Ok ton of questions here. I'll try and go back through and see what I can answer. But I'll try and address some broad strokes stuff first.

We're still shipping gift editions of The Shining. I fully expect this will take another week or two to get through, mostly depending on how much help I have and how much other stuff I have to do (right now a lot since I was gone for a week).

I do not expect to start shipping the Artist Editions until mid to late next week, so honestly I wouldn't expect to actually see a AE book arrive before July.

As far as day to day "regular" orders go, it looks like my part time helper kept up with most of those while I was out. There's a handful of straglers that he didn't know how to print the labels for, but we'll get them out ASAP.

Yesterday received my first ever CD shipping notice e-mail (for The Shining; I bought Carrie and Salem's Lot through other suppliers); I am JACKED.

It's coming via media mail - so perhaps I'll have it by July 4th?

Just a heads we printed shipping labels for maybe 800 orders on Tuesday, they're gonna take a couple days to ship. So don't be surprised if you don't see any movement on the tracking on those orders.
