Someone grabbed one for $75 on abebooks.

I bought mine for £9 and sold it for £31 a couple of years ago.

MrRabbitTrick always get good found... doesnt mean that everybody has the same source and get the same price. I would say that your first estimate was probably a good one.. and MrRabbitTrick simply manages to always get good deals!

So far, i cannot send a picture of the cover. I will see with the publisher if i can share a picture online or not, as I signed a non disclosure paper for it.
However, i can say that the design of the book is quite interesting (it's not just a plain boring proof).

I can also add that my copy is an embargoed copy (printed on every single pages), and that the publisher decided to go a bit further in order to fight against leaks i guess. It seems that each of those copies will have not only a number, but also the name of the destinee on the 1st page. Just missing a King signature :p

So: 150 copies of the "limited edition proofs" (as it's called on the book itself) with embargo written.

The Shining is coming. Here are a bunch of updates on our most anticipated title this year.
Vincent Chong has turned in all of the art for our special edition, which is now fully-designed and going through a final round of proofreading. Vinny will also be doing a very limited number of remarques for us. We'll post details in the coming weeks on how you can add one to your limited edition.
Last week, we held a production meeting at which we selected the cloth for the Gift Edition and its slipcase, as well as the marbled paper and cloth for the Signed, Limited Edition. Soon, we'll consult with our specialty binder about the materials for the Lettered Edition.
Vinny sent us dozens of rough sketches to go through for the bonus chapbook, which should come together in the next couple of weeks.
Finally, we've just ordered a very limited number of in house proofs, so we can show Steve King our progress on the book, and incorporate any input he might have.

So, here are pictures of the UK, embargoed proof of DOCTOR SLEEP, 150 copies.
Pictures do not do it justice. This is truely a VERY nice proof, with a subtle/classy design. Pictures do not show it very well as it's very subtle with black lettering on black covers.
