Somehow I missed them, but I've added the three proofs of The Plant to the listing in the first post.

"Just" a King related proof but i think it´s kind of cool

Yes it is , no contributions by the authors but still kind of cool !
I have to read it some day because it´s suppose to be something about "newcomers to the genre like Stephen King"
We ALL love proofs, right?
Especially when those are freebies, isn't it? :-)

After giving up the idea of being a proof completist I decided to first focus on US proofs from the 80s (not including bound manuscripts, proofs of THE PLANT, and proofs of the DT series) and then maybe move on to another decade.
Here's a list (x = I have it). Did I miss anything?
Firestarter x
Danse Macabre x
Cujo x
Different Seasons x
Christine x
Pet Sematary 1st state (typewritten) x
Pet Sematary 2nd state (typeset) -
The Talisman x
Thinner x
Skeleton Crew x
The Bachman Books x
It x
The Eyes of the Dragon x
Misery x
The Tommyknockers x
Nightmares in the Sky -
Dolan's Cadillac 1st state (blue) x
Dolan's Cadillac 2nd state (brown) -
The Dark Half x
The Pet Sematary 2nd state is easy. But how hard will it be to find the Nightmares in the Sky and brown Dolan's Cadillac proofs? Does anyone have any leads? (I think I know the answer.)
I bought my Nightmares in the Sky partial proof on ebay. It was a BIN for £65. They just appear out-of-the-blue, so just keep your eyes open. Incidently, I sold mine for £114.
There have been a few Dolan's Cadillac proofs sold recently. Two blue ones sold at Betts for $225 and $299 this year. I'm sure someone on here bought a brown one recently.
I was the one who got the brown proof. It was in April of this year. I paid $550 for it. It was the only one I'd seen up for sale for quite a while.
I got my copy of the Nightmares in the Sky partial proof from Hutch back in 20087 for $400.
John
That's why Hutch's prices are so high
Funny. Of course, I meant 2007.

Sometimes I feel that old!
John
I know. I'm probably one of the oldest guys on these boards. If you think that's teasing, you haven't heard my 15-year-old grandson!
John
I used to think 30 was old, then I used to think 40 was old, then I used to think 50 was old, then, ah, the hell with it!
Newspaper headline the day after I die - "FLASH - IMMORTALITY SERUM DISCOVERED!" This dirt cheap product will be available to everyone...
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
Beautiful post!
