to all of you.
That W&G 1st edition looks good, though part of my innate reaction is to cringe when a book is taken apart. What condition was the book per-transformation?

If you did a tutorial on making slipcases, you would be the man!

We aim to please! Enjoy.
Wow, that is amazing
Very, very nice, Becca!

Brilliant. I love it. I presume the materials cost more than the book.. Unless it's a secret, it would be cool (as mentioned) for a dedicated "How To" thread about this.
Yes, I agree, I would love to rebind some books that may not be in the best shape. I have a great art history book from college where the binding completely fell apart.
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.

I'm not going to bore you with all of my arts and crafts projects, but here is my newest one, a rehabbed Gunslinger first edition:
(Ha, ha, just kidding; it's actually a mass market Signet paperback spruced up with some art from a Plume book club edition. I put together a description of the process in this thread.)
Whew! Ok, I am much more relaxed about your rebinding projects.
Becca, that's a nice prize. I like the little original drawings in the lower margin.
Congrats, kingfan, on your new purchases.

Rolled.
What edition is that?
It's just the trade with a slipcase. Showed a pic of the back cover as the front cover is the same image as the slipcase.
