The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????
Totally not SK, but horror and a new P&J none the less. I collect movie posters as well; this is a linen-mounted 1970 Italian release called "The Mask of Frankenstein" which was actually the 1957 movie "The Curse of Frankenstein" starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. Going to look great framed and hanging in the man-cave 13 years or so from now when the kids are out and I can have a man-cave!
WANT LIST: Any SK #186; Dark Man Unbound 1st Proof; FDNS Unbound 1st Proof; FDNS Black Tape Spine Proof; FDNS Unbound Color Proof
Congratulations John! You're on a roll lately with the signed books.
Nice items theme Papaseraphim, congrats on those, and I really like that Frankenstein poster... congrats there...
More goodies today! Still trying to locate another book that the USPS alleges was 'delivered' to the office mailbox/locker yesterday, but definitely was not! It isn't a Stephen King book, but still, aggravating dealing with the Postal Service!
Anyway,
Flatsigned 1st hardcover edition/2nd printing of The Green Mile
Flatsigned 1st/1st of Dark Tower V: Wolves of the Calla
And a pristine S/L of The Little Sisters of Eluria! (I had no idea this edition included the revised The Gunslinger novel in it! It's like having a signed Gunslinger! )
"God punishes us for what we cannot imagine." - Stephen King, Duma Key
Very nice John. You're on a roll.

Congrats on all the new P & J's everyone!
Thanks guys! I've actually been meaning to start my own art thread on here. It's just been hard to find the time!
Here's some of my swag from the past couple of weeks:
Inscribed 1st/1st of The Talisman (dated on my birthday, give or take a couple years) and a 1st/1st Lisey's Story inscribed "To Jimmy" (close enough to my own name!), a Turtleback Joyland, and finally, my true pride and joy: I finally got a copy of "Rage". This now completes my SK US 1st edition collection!
AWESOME James!!!! Congrats on a great haul of excellent additions!!!!
John as always great books!!!! How many signed SK books do you have now?

Congratulations James... really cool new acquisitions. Will be great to see you start that collection thread... and that problem with not having time, don't worry about that. Just put the other things on the back burner for now, and make dt.org top priority!
Congrats on getting a copy of Rage! Looks like it's in nice condition too.
Thanks as always, Matt!
Indeed it is! It's very gratifying looking at the shelf and seeing Carrie, 'Salem's Lot, The Shining, Rage, Night Shift, and The Stand etc. all together!
Haha, figures YOU would like the signed books, John. Thanks! I still have quite a ways to go before I'll ever catch up to you!
Haha! Soon. Soon....
Thank you! It's not perfect, but I've certainly seen worse, plus I got it at a decent price. I'm very happy with it!
Congrats John and James !!! you guys just nailing it
For the longest time I've wanted to collect 1st/1st trade hardcover editions of a couple of other authors but other than Michael Crichton and Joe Hill I never really started working on it. Thanks to Matt (mkb.redux) I'm now the owner of these two lovely Dan Simmons books. Looking forward to complete my Simmons collection in 2015 if possible!
to all!
The absence of a thing, this can be as deadly as the presence. The absence of air, eh?
The absence of water? The absence of anything else we're addicted to.
