Picked this up from the framer and I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out. Here is the original cover painting from the Doubleday 1st edition of 'SALEM'S LOT.
I was going for a bit of a goth look in the frame and thanks to some advice by some members here (thank you Alec and Becca) I kept the proportions of the paper intact and went with an asymmetrical matting.
I've pretty much accepted that it's unlikely I'll ever own a first state SL dust jacket, so I'm pretty happy to have this instead.
