Word of advice: don't watch The End of Evangelion without watching the whole of Evangelion first. I haven't seen the whole movie, either. I did watch a sequence from toward the end, a big transformation one. It was wild. Anyway from what I had heard, it was being horribly whitewashed and Americanized.
