    Filth has just come out on Blu-ray over here. Hell YES, that's my night's viewing sorted! Anyone heard any news of a US release, yet? It's definitely my favourite role of James McAvoy's yet.

    I just bought a collection set of Martin Scorsese films. It came with Goodfellas. Since I already own Goodfellas on DVD and since I don't need two, I figured I'd offer my other copy to anybody who wants it.

    I prefer to give the DVD to somebody that has never seen Goodfellas before but is interested in seeing it. If I can't find that person, I don't mind giving it to somebody who likes the film, but doesn't own it.

    I will send it to you free of charge and I will pay for postage. All you need to do is send me a message with your mailing address.

    People should know by now that I'm not some crazy person. I know many of you on FB. If anybody is skeptical about me, just ask around. I'm sure a few people would put in a good word.

    So Jaws was on tv yesterday. I hadn't seen the movie since I was a kid, bits and pieces of it here and there.
    Well, yesterday was the first time I watched it and genuinely enjoyed it.

    I know I'm obviously far behind, but Quint's speech was phenomenal.

    They're making a Bananaman movie. Erm...what dafuq?

    (For non-Brits, Bananaman was a children's comic book character that us limeys know mostly from a cartoon series back in the 80s.)

    This could go one of two ways: suck like a fucking suck (i.e. the all too easy option), but honestly, there MIGHT be a chance that it could be worth a watch. The only way this could happen though is if it well and truly embraces its ridiculousness, ideally in a way that parodies modern comic book movies the same way the original comic parodied American comic books and still being child friendly.

    It's still bugging me that we can't think of that movie. Upside Down is a possibility. Side note: Upside Down was awful.
