He probably has more than one set in the mid-100s and doesn't want to bother with being specific. BTW he has a web site and the price is always 10% cheaper there. http://www.sk-books.com/
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
I haven't heard back from the seller and I am beginning to think that I probably won't get an answer from them. I agree that they all look like prints and, unless your name is Deborah, I can't see that they are that desirable or collectible. Am I missing something here?
No your not. IF these are prints as I believe them to be.. there is little to no value for me in them. Even if I was a Deborah.. they were NOT really to me. If these are original then that would be much different.. I don't think your missing anything my good man

And the award of the most stupidest ebay seller is definitely proauctioneer1.
It's now listed at ^$100 with free shipping.
In a few weeks, he divided his price by 25,000.
The price is now reasonnable, and the seller is a giant morron.

What a knobber... At least he's acknowledged he has no idea of what this item is and opted for auction, let the market decide...
Less than 8 hours left. 12 bids, $265:
The Complete Masters of Darkness *Signed* Stephen King, Martin, Bradbury 1st
But if he'd listed it at $100 and it got snatched up then everybody's like "what a maroon, it was worth way more!" People here love to mock people who aren't on an obsessive fan site all the time.
I agree it was a silly price obviously - but what are they supposed to do when they think they've hit the lottery. There's no way to do comparitive research so might as well list at a crazy price and see what happens. You can always lower it - but you CAN'T always raise it.
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
