The first thought I considered was that it may not be legit, but I checked with images members have submitted and it looks very consistent for King's signature and dating from ~1979.. The book is a mess (IMO), otherwise it would be selling for quite a bit more.

That's what I was thinking, in fact I'm pretty sure I already have a 1st Dead Zone (been buying so much lately that I can't recall off the top of my head.) Though I wouldn't feel right reselling it with a new DJ if I ever decide to (I'm also a bookseller) it wouldn't bother me to replace the DJ and keep it in my personal collection.If you can get this at a good price you can always buy a regular copy with a better DJ

Hi guys. Haven't been around in a long time! Started buying a few signed Kings again after years of not. Grabbed a copy of "The Talisman" signed limited by Straub and King on ebay, number 27 out of 1200. Cost $600, definitely my most expensive purchase ever. Did I get a good deal or no? :/

Thanks mcdonaldj! My first and last purchase of something so expensive, but it's been a rough year so did it to cheer myself up. I also grabbed a couple of signed Kings that I think are genuine. The sellers seem legit and the signatures too. Is there a forum here where I can post a photo of each signature to make sure they are legit? I'm 99 percent sure they are, but just want reassurance lol. I posted here once about a signature but that was like 5 years ago! Not sure whether to post here, on the ebay BS thread, or if there's a thread especially for sigs.
