Carrie UK 1st edition, a real shame the dust jacket has been stuck to the boards. Any idea what sort of value the book holds?
I wouldn't think it would have much value at all. It appears to have been permabound for the library. Unless there were first editions issued this way by NEL for library use when the book was originally released, it has been rebound. There was a copy of the UK Night Shift like this that sat on EBay for some time, I don't recall the price but I don't think it was very expensive.

If the book has been "never taken from case" I wonder how the seller knows it is #009/200?
True first edition. Also, check out the (deceased) collector's Easton's Press Collection.
Truly impressive.

Easton Press / The Dead Zone (Stephen King) / SEALED NEW
That is a pretty display. He is still having to stack books on the floor though. Artwork stacked and leaning on the cases. We can all relate.
I am in LOVE with those bookcases! It looks like he had his own bookstore!
Very cool display.
In what sense are your scratching your head? Unsure on the signatures?

The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????
Looking at all his Other Auctions, all the Easton books are still sealed. Unless he bought duplicates of them all, it looks like his impressive Easton collection was for show, not reading, which, for me, is quite sad.
