    I can't say for sure on your auction Tippy, but the same thing happened to me on a Wizard & Glass 1st. The seller put it on Ebay with a Buy it Now for $20 shipped. I bought it.......paid immediately through Paypal........the next day the seller backed out and his message and I quote "thanks to an honest member of a collectors board thedarktower.org I have been told I need to pull the book back and resell at a higher price".

    Now, this has made me very cautious of people here....sorry to say that but I've kept that comment bottled up inside for a while now.

    What did Ebay do you ask? They slapped the sellers hand, refunded my money. He is still a seller on Ebay today.

    I don't think that tippy4 was the buyer. You can see what happened by reading the feedback comment left by the would-be buyer. Personally I think I would have left a negative remark rather than a neutral.

    I bought a tall, galley proof of Night Shift once on eBay for about $200 on a very poorly worded auction. The seller reneged when he/she was informed of the true value. I'm still a little peeved about that one. You can bet that I left a negative comment.

    that's BS. once a sale is done its done. Its one thing to change your mind before the auction ends but quit another to re neg on your word. If that was me i would be pissed!

    I can't say for sure on your auction Tippy, but the same thing happened to me on a Wizard & Glass 1st. The seller put it on Ebay with a Buy it Now for $20 shipped. I bought it.......paid immediately through Paypal........the next day the seller backed out and his message and I quote "thanks to an honest member of a collectors board thedarktower.org I have been told I need to pull the book back and resell at a higher price".

    Now, this has made me very cautious of people here....sorry to say that but I've kept that comment bottled up inside for a while now.

    What did Ebay do you ask? They slapped the sellers hand, refunded my money. He is still a seller on Ebay today.
