I hope the reason Amazon doesn't have a pic is because Hodder are still designing their cover, it gives me an excuse to buy this release as well as the Scribner/CD one if there's a new cover!.

I'm the one who grabbed this ARC and paid for it. But soon after I paid I recieve this from Ebay:

I want the book. SCREW Ebay. I contacted the seller directly (got his Email from the Paypal transaction).

And yes, it shows as a paid transaction. It's not the sellers fault.

Some may say I paid too much for it but I do have to believe it's a hard one to find and rarely RARELY makes an appearance for sale.

I'm happy with the buy. Now what to sell from my closet to pay for it.

Glad it worked out. I ran into the same problem with the Marge Simpson issue of playboy that had a King story in it.

I listed it on eBay, sold it, got paid for it, and shipped it, 2 days later they cancelled the auction. Adult content on regular eBay or something. Way to stay on top of it eBay.

He had already paid, I sent it. All went well.

Actually Ebay/Paypal is investigating this seller for something else. Not sure just yet what they are after. I think I will get my $50 back without an issue just waiting on Paypal now.

If I had to guess what the issue is just by the questions I'm getting from Ebay:

He is posting a book on Ebay, offering to others off Ebay, selling it off Ebay, but keeping the auction going and selling it again. The person on Ebay gets the book, the people outside of Ebay.....SORRY.

Of course this is just theory right now.

Sound like a pretty sketchy character.... Still i would protect my rights under ebays buyer protection and open a dispute wjhich puts everyone on notice within the filing deadline.

I got hosed in the past by "being a nice guy" and getting strung along by a seller till the filing deadline passed. Ebay bounced the seller for being a turd but I did not get my money back because i missed the deadline to file a dispute.

I didn't realize it was you that I was bidding against. I would have stopped much earlier had I known. Please post pictures. I'm interested to see.

This finally arrived in the mail today (I think it was delayed due to the volacano). Unfortunately, it's too big for my scanner. It's really kind of neat. It all unfolds to make a good-sized item.
