Did anyone happen to pick up an extra UK signed copy that they don't need?
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.
I'd like a signed UK NOS4A2 too. I placed one in the shopping cart at the Forbidden Planet website, went out for a run and when I returned the book was gone.
Yep, I sent them a request for shipping quote and when I got the reply, the link was gone

Marco and Tom, great story and pic. Thanks for sharing! Glad you eventually got a first edition for yourself, Marco. All's well that ends well.

If you follow my right elbow onto the bookshelves you can see Joyland too
Try Foyles Bookstore - they had some signed UK firsts. Still have some if this link is correct:

in addition to my post earlier this week, here's some visual material
The Gingerbread (cookie) Girl posing with Joe
Joe signing NOS4R2 to fellow boardie Chad
Joe introducing NOS4R2 in Liverpool
Joe doodling my copy of NOS4R2
and last but not least, yours truly with Joe at the Manchester signing event (thanks to Tom who took this picture)
Great pictures. Thanks for sharing. I love that they went with the Christmas theme. I didn't see anything in the USA like that.
Looking good, Marco!
I'll echo Jerome's sentiment. Although I appreciate that they hosted the author, the bookstore we went to did nothing remotely creative.

Thanks to Clacke I managed to order one too.
Does anyone know if there is a reason the US title is NOS4A2 and the UK title is NOS4R2?
Ken
Something to do with the way the British pronounce the letter sounds.
