Good health to all!!!
I always loved that cover! I think I need to re-read that book. (How does anyone ever have time to re-read books with the going need to read list?)
Any update on 20th Century Ghosts Pete?
Hi Mike -- Yes, the delay has been caused by difficulties in being able to contact one of the movie directors for the DVD. Joe and I have been trying to sort it out and I'm now hopeful that we've done it . . . just a few hours ago. I'll know more in the next few days. Many many thanks as ever for your patience. Sheesh, I don't deserve you folks, truly I don't.
Best wishes
Pete
Cool, thanks Pete!

I was at a podcast recording for The Nerdist Writer Panel last saturday. Joe was the only guest and the interview lasted well over an hour. Lots of great information and backstory on his life.
There is a great section where he discusses a scene that he tried to write for The Fireman, spending the entire month of August and 12 rewrites trying to get it the way he wanted. Ultimately, he went an entirely different direction, but he had learned so much about the characters "voice" that he said he was glad it happened that way.

All in all it was a great night, even with Brookline, Mass saturday night traffic!!
I was even able to get a copy of HSB signed, plus a copy of Horns inscribed to my niece. It will be a Christmas gift and is her first signed HC.
Thanks Joe!!
He also did say that he is almost certain that he will be swinging through Maine next summer for a signing when The Fireman drops.
EDIT: just found a blog indicating the podcast wont be released until May of '16 to be timed with The Fireman release. Seems like a long time to sit on a shelf.... Oh well.

"Thanks, but no, it isn't a cowboy hat. It's a fedora. And yes, Indianna Jones is still socially relevant."
I got a copy of 2015 The Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy signed by Joe Hill. I will try to get some pictures in my collection thread tonight.
In the market for a copy of THE FIREMAN preview, signed/doodled if possible, but unsigned OK too. Please PM!
I ordered from Waterstones.
