He did not. NRB advertised signed books before King was even asked. He declined to sign any copies.

Vincent implied that King would be signing copies. No doubt King found out about the fraud and therefor refused to sign. King said he wouldn't sign the books on principle.

It really is a sad story. King fans, and I presume Vincent and everyone involved wanted it (everything, not just King stuff) to be a success. People are still clinging to the hopes of NRB getting their act together; but the stark reality is that success is unlikely, and failure is either imminent, or has already happened before our very eyes.
I wish NRB the best, yet I care more for those who have paid for, and may never receive their expected deliveries.
So I just emailed them and asked for a full refund for both June and July. I'll let you know if I hear anything. I guess my next step is to contact my credit card in a few days and see what they say. I've been reading through the fb group, and it looks like he's refunding some people and not refunding others, which is crazy. I feel bad that they're obviously going through stuff, but on the other hand I can't afford to toss hundreds of dollars out for nothing, and I've been more than patient.

As a small business owner (x 2, plus my wife) I feel for this company. We have had failures and accomplishments in business. We have always made it as right as possible. We have never spent individual investors money we could not refund.

So we got the boxes back a little while ago and they came with other stuff we ordered (mugs and shirts/totes) on top of them...smh.
So now we are going to go through them and make sure they are not busted up before we either re-box or just relabel! They are going priority so you get em soon.
As soon as we can get our labels approved we can get out July, but we might do those priority too. I am crunching some numbers to make sure its possible. The labels are not a click and get approved kind of thing, but if you need the process, I will be getting to every email possible the evening and tonight so give me a shout.
August is not quite staged but we have stations set up, we just have to get July out of the way before we can stage and pack. But 3 extra hands will hopefully make easy work of that.
We are going to go back to daily posts, and a lot more behind the scenes stuff for a while so you can see that we are working to get this stuff out to you. We are close!
So I got estimates to get July out priority, we are just going to do that, as the labels for UPS have taken a bit longer than we were told. For anyone that has never set up a shipping contract, I wish it was easier, but its not. We go through Cratejoy for our platform, and our postage goes through Endicia and then UPS, then the freight company. So to print a label its not as easy as signing a contract and being ready to go. Each of those systems have to be linked together and last time we did it took multiple weeks.
This time, I know someone now at Endicia and CJ so we are going to bring that time down considerably, but we are not waiting any longer to get July out. We are approximately 3 weeks from being fully caught up. I know people are waiting on June and the tracking will come tomorrow when they start getting picked up. We are going to avoid shipping freight for them and just have a big van or truck, whatever they got, come and pick them up.
So July will start getting labeled Thursday and Friday and start being picked up Friday and hopefully Saturday if we can swing that. Once we get all of those out of the way we can pack August and get that puppy out! we are also going to do something for subscribers that we have never done before, but look for that announcement tomorrow as its a surprise.
I know I still have emails to go through so please be patient, I have more helping hands now so we will be able to get back to answering you emails and messages much faster. Thanks everyone, have a great rest of the week!

The delayed June boxes were supposed to have shipped starting July 9th - according to an earlier update - with July shipping six days after. It's the middle of August and July has still not shipped. Hell, all of June hasn't even shipped. No mention of the King box.

Honestly nothing they say makes any sense. It's been over a month where he's been saying June is going to ship soon. And at least a month where July is just about ready to go.
They have charged for it too. Charged people who still haven't received Junes box.

Actually, believe it or not, but they'tr probably paying off May/June costs with July/August sales, etc, etc. It's not right and I don't condone it, but you would be surprised how many small press publishers operate in a similar fashion albeit to a greater/lesser degree. I'm not defending them just stating likely fact.
I just want my $85.00 back at this point. Does anyone here think that it's likely to happen? Because I don't. Ordered in April so way past a CC dispute.
I wish I paid through PayPal, looks like people are being refunded that way. They owe me June, July, Aug (because I completely forgot to go cancel ) and the King box. I'm going to call my credit card company tomorrow and see what they say? I paid for the King box in April, and the June box in May. I don't understand how they can get away with this? I know there's been some complaints to the better business bureau. What does that do? Is there a way to get our money back that way? They ignored my email asking for a refund. They owe me over $200. I am not a happy camper.

From what I’ve been reading it’s very unlikely. Unless you kiss his ass which is, well, f that. And I think he’s only doing partial refunds at that. The guy deserves no sympathy anymore as far as I’m concerned. He’s worse than Time Warner.

Call your CC company and file a dispute. I'd be surprised if they didn't ultimately refund you 100% of your money (forget about their silly binding charge for a dispute, the CC company is VERY unlikely to honor that).
I'm no attorney but maybe some sort of small claims class action needs to be filed against the company. What a headache. I feel for you guys but glad I didn't get in on this debacle.

So has everyone that's waiting for June received a tracking number or box yet? I finally got my tracking number late last night and it says it's in transit, due to arrive tomorrow. Also saw on fb that July is being labeled and set to ship soon.
