Bob I came up with $895 because I thought it had a lot going for it. A 23 years old LE with two vintage signatures. And I am a huge fan of slipcases...better when they mark the spine (like this one) so they sit backwards in my bookcase like this one. We all know about fadied spines.

I am not a fan of inscriptions. My buyer says $450 is his max, seemed low too me, but I bow to the wisdom of many. On less that $650 was an offer LOL

I wish. Bob & Jerome are certainly more qualified than I to render an opinion, but $450 sounds low to me for such a unique item. I've been wrong before though. Best of luck to you regardless.

Not really. If it was flatsigned/dated I'd find it interesting, but probably look somewhere else to spend $450+ on (like a flatsigned/dated 1st edition of Dead Zone dated in August of 1979).

If in NF+ condition, $900-$1.2k (perhaps more if two people are actively pursuing it). If you collect King books signed as "Steve", they almost always be be personalized, so that is an expected thing that does not lower the value.

I like this Easton edition, I prefer slipcases, I buy signed editions, and I love The Dead Zone, so I would be a potential buyer. However a price > $400 would be a deal breaker for me, a position made more solid because my name's not Marty and there's no date.

After I heard from David saying the book and slipcase are worth $200 and $400 for the two signatures. I told buyer I would do $575 delivered. I also lowered my eBay price.

Being a child of the 1950's I grew up on this stuff. I watched the Mickey Mouse Club almost every day after school. That's where the Spin and Marty serialized stories were seen. Sometimes Annette Funicello would make an appearance in them. If I were capable of wet dreams at the age of 6 y/o they would have featured Annette.

If this is the particular item, this is likely an association copy signed to Stan & Anne Rice. I don't know if that has any value, etc, just thought it was worth mentioning.
