What's a first edition of Night Shift worth? Found what looks like a pretty good copy on eBay, but not sure what a reasonable price would be. Thanks in advance for the help!

It's nice but not perfect. Perfect I would take the BIN - for that one if you can get it for < $800 then it's a good buy.

And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King

+1 for Me on the advice. I got a full unstickered set over the last 12 months - I don't think I paid more than $15 for any of them.

Only a few copies have surfaced at the moment and the book isn't out yet so $400-500 wouldn't be out of the question. At the same time I think the book holds less appeal than for example Doctor Sleep, which was a highly anticipated title. So perhaps on the lower end of my guesstimate (unless you're selling right now when many proof collectors are still hunting for a copy and it is not yet clear if there will be many copies available at all).

Mr Mercedes is NOT selling on ebay for BIN $250. Alot of patience will get you a deal down the line. Just my opinion.

People will pay more now, but it WILL go down, just like Biomeg said, collectors are scrambling now. Sell NOW (just dont buy now).

Be patient. Look for them by date, not just by King.

    I bought all issues of 1980, 1981 and 1982 for $20.

I bought all issues of 1978 for $20.

One other note, the seller did not show or mention the price on the DJ, very important especially since it's the same size as the book club edition.

There were prints made available though I'm not sure when or how they were sold, for From A Buick 8. I have a set of four.

Cycle of the werewolf is a tough find but I found mine for 350. The insomnia has two states, red and blue. Not sure on proces for those.

yes... there is a "standard" portfolio and other signed by Ned Dameron

still... i'm interested in value of two states of Insomnia protfolios that are signed by Hale and King. (I believe Red state includes original pieces of artwork by Hale and it is very scarce)

Cycle of the werewolf is a tough find but I found mine for 350. The insomnia has two states, red and blue. Not sure on proces for those.
I believe DT III had two states as well. One signed and one not if I recall.
yes... there is a "standard" portfolio and other signed by Ned Dameron

still... i'm interested in value of two states of Insomnia protfolios that are signed by Hale and King. (I believe Red state includes original pieces of artwork by Hale and it is very scarce)

Oops, sorry. I got a bit off track there, I'm sorry, but I can't help you there.
