    Default Great Music - Round 1: 1970-1974 (Group 9 of 16)

During the first round of The Great Music Tournament, please vote for up to five tracks you would like to move onto the next round. The top five tracks will be moving on. Keep in mind that the percentage of the vote a given track receives will determine its standing going forward.

IMPORTANT! Please do not simply vote on name recognition (or lack thereof) alone. Please do listen to each nomination and then make your choice. Even if you think you know a track well, it's still worth giving it a listen for a refresher.

The poll will run for seven days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

The nominees are (please let me know if any video doesn't play for you):

    John Lennon - Imagine (1971)

Harry Nilson - Without You (1972)

Stevie Wonder - Living For the City (1973)

Simon and Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water (1970)

    Apollo 100 - Joy (1972)

    Yes - Roundabout (1971)

John Denver - Take Me Home, Country Roads (1971)

Whether you vote for it or not, that's up to you but please give Apollo 100 - Joy a fair listen. I think this is my favorite instrumental ever.

You should have seen Art when they preformed this at the R&R hall of fame induction... he almost couldn't hit that high note in the last refrain. Old Age sucks. LOL
