    Default Great Music - Round 1: 1945-1949 (Group 1 of 8) - Tiebreaker

For the tiebreaker poll, please choose one to move on to the next round.

IMPORTANT! Please do not simply vote on name recognition (or lack thereof) alone. Please do listen to each nomination and then make your choice. Even if you think you know a track well, it's still worth giving it a listen for a refresher.

The poll will run for four days. Discussion is greatly encouraged!

The nominees are (please let me know if any video doesn't play for you):

Arthur Smith - Guitar Boogie (1945)

    Desi Arnaz - Babalú (1947)

Tough call. I voted for both of these before, and in fact I think I was the nominee for both. Babalu has the added bonus for being so associated with the classic I Love Lucy and a great conga beat, but in the end I had to vote for the catchiness that is Guitar Boogie.

Tiebreaker's tied at 4. Still two days to go, but hope we'll get a few more votes in. Not sure what the process is otherwise

The poll closed with a tie. Since the only stated vote was for "Guitar Boogie", it will move on.
