hate King's nonfiction

Ha ha. I love King's non-fiction, as long as he's writing about the craft or the genre or autobiographical issues (I don't care at all what he has to say about politics or gun control--mostly he just embarrasses himself there).

It was interesting reading about the actual process of writing and where some of his ideas came from, but I’m not a writer and never will be. I typically prefer fiction over non-fiction. 2.5
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?
I really enjoyed the autobiographical part. Went with a solid 4, but could've been even a 4.5.

I somehow feel the same whatever he writes about, if it's not fiction... Anyway, what he actually writes in his novels surpasses what he has to say about it so overwhelmingly that bears just can't treat the latter seriouslyOriginally Posted by divemaster
