I lost my Pet Sematary display auction. My max was $125ish and it went for $150ish. And now I'm losing my French Creepshow hardcover auction. Grrrrrrr! What's next, my red leather SK library auction?
AND I lost $275 at the casino last night. So sad, so sad.

Sorry about the casino last night. Since you're a LV resident, what's your casino of choice?
The seller of the promo items is the owner of darktowercompendium.
I really don't remember the reason, but something from that guy bothered me and I never visited the website again.
A lot of people didn't like that guy (Anthony/Antman?). As I recall there was a bit of a feud between .net and tdtcompendium. I don't really recall the details well.
Didn't have something to do with the site logo's being too close for comfort on his part? Also, as I recall (so we know that's not dependable) he was a bit snooty in that he had some sort of actual or perceived "In" with King? Again, as I recall, wasn't his site the only "Fan-Site" to be listed on the old SK "The Dark Tower"page? As an "official" fan site?
I really can't remember well, but I usually don't have any issues with people until you do something that really bothers me, and this guy apparently did.

Spoiler:
Great song, BTW!!! Give it a listen!!!!
It's a cheesy movie but I've always loved it!! And Steve Vai (Jack Butler in the movie) has been one of my favorite guitar players since 1990 or so (I started playing in 1988 myself and Steve's Passin & Warfare came out in 1990). Granted, he can be a little over the top but he's in a league of his own.
I fancy it's the limitation to a thousand copies that is the chief charm and value of an edition deluxe. I don't expect to read this edition deluxe myself, although you needn't tell that to anybody else. Frankly, you know, I don't suppose that anybody ever reads an edition deluxe. No one puts bric-a-brac to any very practical purpose. There's some human instinct which makes a man treasure what he is not to make any use of, because everybody does not possess it.
