I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but the SK publishers, both here and in the UK, have virtually stopped all promotional items for his new books. A shame.

They're nice, but I would not classify those wooden book marks ars promotional items.
To me, a promo item is something put out by the publisher or film company.

I agree. I like the bookmarks, but they are aftermarket. Similar to an aftermarket slipcase, T-shirt etc. Perhaps highly desirable, but not close to an official "Promo" item.
The German publishers are realy thrifty. But for the new softcover edition of some SK book they promote with an blow-up banner and posters.

Wasn't there a Duma Key tennis ball? That's also a promo item, I think.
There were actually two different "sets" of Duma Key tennis balls. One was packaged by itself in a fairly flimsy plastic box and the other was a set of three balls in a canister.

I never heard of or saw those DUMA KEY tennis balls promos. I like them. I read the book but I can't remember what they refer to. Some memory I have!
Are they they ever ever going going to to fix fix this this repeating repeating word word problem problem here here??
