I like the looks of the display a lot. Congratulations! Like others have already said I like it when you can separate the US from the UK editions. Really nice. I know you are proud of it and rightly so.

Yeah I always knew it was going to be just enough. It's not quite as bad as it looks though as the bottom right shelf and the few books above them are all duplicates/trades/books I have upgraded, so there is probably at least a whole shelf spare. Plus of course the shelves on the left could be double stacked...
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King

What the HELL is all this talk about the U.S. & U.K. books being separated?
They look intermingled to me as they should be.

My bad. I didn't really even look at the individual books, just the bookcase and the overall effect. Someone mentioned separated US and UK books and I made a wrong assumption. I always separate my UK and US editions though. Separate is the way to go. It's been that way since 1776.

Okay, I've a few things to say about this develpoment, so fasten your seat belts, folks!!! LOL

First off, Simon. $10 to the HF to find the missing book? You cheap, Limey bastard!!! Tell you what, I'll donate $20 right now and you just tell us!!! LOL J/K Don't take offense. I will plunk down the 20 though if you just tell us.

Second, there is available space!!! WTF is up with that, my brutha? You damn well better get busy you Lazy, Limey bastard (Hey, that one kinda rolls off the tongue, don't it?) LOL LOL

Thirdly, you built yourself into a corner!!!! Bad choice!!! What happens when you secure the next 30 S/L's? LOL You'll be walking around balancing one of your wife's "ornaments" on your head because you need the shelf space!!! LOL

All of the above meant in jest. Lovely looking collection, mate!!!!!
    28 in 23 (?)!!!!

    63 in '23!!!!!!!!!!

The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????

Lol ok Bill I'm not giving it up that easily! Think of it as 'Where's Wally.. Or where would Wally have been...
Tell you what, I'll double it to $20. ( this bookcase has put a major dent in my finances ) If no one spots it by next week I'll tell y'all and we can both donate.

Oh and I discovered I was missing a first edition! I've sourced a nice one now, but I will donate $10 to the HF if anyone can spot which one is missing! (Note it's an actual 1st and not a variant)
Well... I see a UK Carrie 1st Edition, but no US 1st.

Really? You don't see the book IMMEDIATELY to the left of the UK book???

I'm a fan of a lot of the UK DJ art but seems H&S got extremely lazy with Everything's Eventual and From A Buick 8. Horrible DJ art, IMO.

Strongly agree. The cover of the proof of From a Buick 8 is vastly superior to the trade cover. I don't know why they changed it.

I think I'm one of the few, or maybe the only one who likes those covers. Sure, the proof cover is way more detailed and I like it, but I still like the simpler style of those two. Without comparing them, they have a simplicity to them that I like.
