Wednesday we left Estes Park to drive to Boulder.

Here is my final shot of The Stanley Hotel:





On the way down the hill is an old church. Here is the church with a 14,000+ ft. high peak, and the moon behind it:

Met new member Lot Guy at the event and he met King at the Boulder Bookstore where King dropped in unannounced and signed.

That landslide was a bit of a close call but the locals and church now have a good supply of ready felled firewood.

That is why I took the photo. I "interviewed" the group and she was unabashed about the body hair, so I asked for a pic of them where her armpits were showing and she loved posing. They likely will pop in here and check out the image, so no bashing.

I've been posting all along! Have been waiting for a comment on my " ... would have liked to have stayed, but I can't, (tomorrow) I gotta go do this thing ......" up in #80, thought one of you would have caught that!

I stopped and took photos here as well, but wanted to get it with the mudslide in the foreground so hiked down and to the left and walked into the middle of the big pile. Just as I was shooting I heard running water ... from underneath me. That was when my weight overcame the surface tension of all the crap and I fell through up to my knees in mud. Luckily had spare pants and shoes; more lucky I didn't go in deeper, because it's deeper than it looks. Haven't downloaded other photos from the camera yet, will do that later tonight.

See the guy on the left of the photo, with the hat and moustache? That's Gus, King's chauffeur ... we spoke with him extensively!
