I got a mailing notice the other day and was hopeful, but it turned out to be the Double Feature S/LHaven't received one for The Twelve S/L yet.

Hard to tell. His signature is very different from book to book. His S/L's don't look the same as the signed first editions from the publisher. Either way, that book seems to have bumps and probably is too much for that copy. Look around and you can find the publishers signed first edition UK version for about same price. Then you know it's legit. Might check VJ Books.
It shouldn't matter. The book itself is damaged. I'd look around for a better copy and a better signature.

I thought I saw him say sometime in 2014 (I'm almost expecting an October 2014 date, but that might be too soon considering the small amount of info. that's been released).

IMHO the books have been spaced out way too much. The story is complex enough with the characters and the elapsed time that the publication dates have negatively impacted the interest in the series.
