In October I moved to a new house. Now everything has settled in my new place, also the books have found there new space in the rooms.
These are the Dutch books and some of the US/UK series, placed in one of the smaller rooms:
And this is the living room, with enough space to make a DT-wall
Wow. Excellent display, Roog. Very impressive.
Thanks!

I agree with everyone else, that's a great set-up.
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
Thanks, guys I'm very happy with it myself
What a visual feast. Nice job, very impressive.
Een verzameling om trots op te zijn, Rogier!! Prachtig werk!
Awesome job, congrats!
A really nice display you have put together. Awesome work.
Thanks, guys! ^.^
Most impressive, indeed!
Found another Doubleday Holdorf book to add to my collection: Night Shift!
One more (and the most difficult to locate) to go mate - they look great lined up thusly - you have an ordered and structured way of doing your shelves that makes me a tad envious
We all float down here!
The sheer qty of bookcases you have makes me very envious. Superb display!
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
One thing that I don't like (and its not your fault!) is the one book thats part of the matching editions on the top of your case. I'm not sure which novel it is (they don't seem to be in date sequence so I cant even guess) but whoever it was in the publishing house that decided to make it taller than all the others should be shot. That kind of thing would keep me awake at night
edit: there is another that looks taller but I think it's just on the join of the bookcases - my OCD would probably let that go. (or maybe I would sand down the book case )

That's the NEL paperback of On Writing. I also own the full set and my copy is exactly the same. I never found a smaller copy (and never found larger copies of the others, either)...
I like that Holdorf set. Are you going to get the set of painted covers as well?
