les claypool is a god.
He sure thinks he is. Don't get me wrong, I love Les but I saw him live three times in one year (in three different bands) and each time he basically did the same things in his solos. He's a great bass player but he's also a bit of a one-trick-pony when it comes to playing live (well, three tricks really, but still).
i can accept that. i've only seen him live the one time...and when i met him i was so disappointed that i was taller than him. that's always such a buzzkill.
