They advertised slipcases for the Dark Tower comics, I thought that was a nice way to keep them, I ordered
them like 3 years ago! I've emailed Dave and it's always a story, "they're coming". The last time I emailed
him I asked him if he could just send me a receipt for my "charitable contribution" so I could write it off!
So I should deal with them eh? WOW! What bad service!

I've only purchased one item from David. It took him two months to get it to me. I came on here to complain about having to wait for two months and received little sympathy, since for him two months is a rapid response.

This is only my opinion, I do not think we will ever see this. I think sales were non existent except for you and I. Recently I purchased two items from Rocky Wood's collection since those had a discount of 50%. It took more or less three weeks, which I consider is a decent delay, but I live in Argentina, so I'm somehow used to larger delays.

Just one suggestion: if you don't get a reply via private contact (e-mail, for example) you always have the public contact (Facebook and Twitter). Whenever I need to complain to someone or a company that doesn't reply e-mails, I do it through Facebook or Twitter. And I ALWAYS got a quick response after my post or tweet.

I hope you are wrong. I also have this on order. Two of the books are already available (as part of the Chadbourne remarque series) - as are the additional covers. The slipcase is done (I have an email stating that) which leaves the "Before The Play" H/C edition. This is where I think problems are being had. So, can anyone shed any light on these paperback editions I've started to collect? Bob? Michaël maybe. I got this one today:
I always thought the UK paperback 1st edition was the one with the blue cover - but this one has "FIRST NEL OPEN MARKET EDITION 1985 on the copyright page and I've never seen this particular cover before. All very confusing.
I would have to check the thread we recently talked about with the discussion of early UK PBs, but wasn't Bob's opinion that the 'open market' editions were likely to be the true firsts? Or was it the other way around? I have never seen this one before either. Great find and it looks to be in very nice condition too.
