The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????
I guess to me it's more about not being able to display it properly. I suppose if I had more room to do so it would appeal to me more. As it is I have to constantly tweak just for my actual, King books. My LOTR case is huge and probably is the main reason I can't find the space. Well, that and my wife!! LOL

CLUB STEPHEN KING (french website about STEPHEN KING, since 1992) : on : Facebook | Twitter | Instagram

FYI: REMINDER.... Rose Red television miniseries scripted by horror novelist Stephen King.
The book ( The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer) was not written by King... Early rumors suggested it was however was actually penned by Ridley Pearson
the producers contracted with author Ridley Pearson to write a tie-in novel, The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer: My Life at Rose Red, under the pseudonym "Dr. Joyce Reardon"
Which was later turned into a tv-movie.

Yep, definitely written by Ridley -- I got him to sign my copy a number of years ago.
Author of The Road to the Dark Tower, Stephen King: A Complete Exploration of His Work, Life, and Influences and The Dark Tower Companion. Co-editor with Stephen King of the anthology Flight or Fright.
Questions for my DT brothers. How many of you have the S/l Salems lot and how nice is it honestly? I know it was a few hundred new and your hard pressed to find under 1500... I am looking at one now. Love some insight on this one. Thanks folks!

I have one (#273) and I really like it. As has been noted elsewhere, the cloth covers do tend to attract dust, but overall, it's a great item.
John
Kris I love this edition!
Does attract dust as others have mentioned,
Ordered a custom clamshell for mine #47
To help with that,
I have a couple gift edition copies signed that are really nice as well, S/L is heavier & has all illustrations,
S/L is awesome though, they can lower from $1,500.00 if you hold out( I waited a year)
In the end I paid $1,100.00 for mine back in December,
Limitation page is at the back like COTW,
I love my artist-signed KNOWING DARKNESS. The hundred dollar clear slipcase gives me peace of mind too.
My SALEM'S LOT S/L is also a prized possession.
The production quality of both these books is top-notch.
"...that Siren which called and sang and promised so much and gave, after all, so little." ~ Ray Bradbury
All this talk recently about Knowing Darkness made me get mine out last night and flick through every page. Damn it's a great publication. If you have one, make sure you look through it every now and then.
If you don't have one, and its within your means to do so, get one!
What is in the following?

That is the Boston Mass Lowell Alumni Magazine. When we went to see him at Boston Lowell, My wife and I both have a picture in there with SK. Me at the faculty reception and her at the student reception. The lady that designed the big poster for the event sent me 3 copies. I plan on framing the article. it is about eight pages long and talks about his visit at Boston Lowell.
