My Uncle bought this for me. I'm still kinda of in shock
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.
Already have my signed 1st edition 11/22/63 in a CD slipcase but i couldn't resist and broke down and just ordered a tray case from the collector. So now what do i do?.....sell the CD case for a loss or just buy another signed copy of 11/22/63 ?
the decisions collectors have to make !!
I plan to put my S/L in the traycase from The Collector, and my signed 1st edition in the slipcase from CD.
When it comes to aftermarket book protectors, I like to have my S/L's and signed 1st's in different cases, so they are more easily distinguishable on the book shelves.
"...that Siren which called and sang and promised so much and gave, after all, so little." ~ Ray Bradbury
Yeah having a signed and a S/L in two different cases sounds like the perfect solution....
I am looking to buy myself a flatsigned copy to go in my new Collector Traycase, and am planning on purchasing froma member here. They have sugegsted I post pictures of the signature here so the experts can confirm its all good. I have no reason to doubt the seller or the signature, but this will be a good way for us to both feel confident with tghe sale.
Anyway, I'd apprectiate your thoughts on this signature:
Looks good to me!
John

Thats going to look so good with a signed edition inside! booya!
Ordered mine:0 Now I need a UK 1st to fill my 4th different slipcase/traycase Plan is-
S/L US = Collector traycase
Flatsigned US = CD traycase
1st/1st US = CD slipcase
1st/1st UK = Overlook slipcase...
and lotsa smiles!!!!!!!
Maybe overkill..but loved that story
Wish List:
Any of the following flatsigned or inscribed-
It, Shining, Salem’s Lot, Mr. Mercedes, The Stand
Brother ARC, Seed ARC
This is my situation at the moment:
S/L US = CD traycase
1st/1st US = Dolso slipcase
1st/1st UK = CD (UK)slipcase
on its way: Tomas traycase
empty on shelf: CD (US) slipcase
I'm not really one to collect flatsigned editions, but I guess I'll have to make an exception here.

Someone on the SKMB noticed a typo in the blurb on the back of the new trade paperback edition of 11/22/63: It says "Jolie" instead of "Jodie" Texas. I don't know how common this error will be.
John
Serious question here. Would that be worth seeking out? Would that make this collectible? They certainly wouldn't recall this entire printing simply for that; and if they don't there would be so many of these that they'd be worth the cover price, no?
It's probably not really worth much as a collectible, but as an oddity. I also seriously doubt they'd recall the entire run.

Question regarding CD Traycase...
Does anybody else notice that the Copy "Stephen King 11/22/63" on the Spine of the tray case is running "crooked" and is not centered on the spine?
Not complaining just it seems worse than usual....
