I've always been so fond of this series that I even had my very own 'Twin Peaks fan club' when I was in the University. (Full disclosure: it was a 2-member clubEveryone else thought we were crazy.)
I liked the idea that nothing and no one in the series was what it/them seemed to be at first.
Also, IIRC, it was also one of the first non-soap series that were shown in Russia - before that, we were shown only "Santa-Barbara" (you would not believe how many cats were named "Mason" in honor of one of the characters

Linda has not watched much TV in all her life, and even our Russian friends know more about the shows

Only watched the first two episodes of Twin Peaks, but if the rest are as good, then it easily gets my vote. I mean I love Angel, but...bloody hell, is Twin Peaks brilliant!

I liked both, but I have to go with Angel. I was really into that show.
There's one hole in every revolution, large or small. And it's one word long.. people. No matter how big the idea they all stand under, people are small and weak and cheap and frightened. It's people that kill every revolution.
I went with Twin Peaks, I thought Angel lost it in the last season - the highlight of the entire series was when the gang travelled to Lorn's world

Angel was actually a good show. Twin Peaks was one of those that everyone just thought was good because it was so quirky and out there.
People love frozen yogurt. I don't know what to tell you.
