I have no idea... I don't think so, there isn't anything Twilight about it. Light BDSM
All my friends keep asking if I've read this. It's driving me nuts. So, is it worth picking up? I usually like my smut with a touch of the supernatural!
So have you read the Anita Blake series? Or Meridith Gentry series...Both are by Laurell K. Hamilton...when i first started reading them i was like wow...

Has anyone read the Kim Harrison The Hollows series? Rachel Morgan? I hear it and Anita Blake are very similar, and I'm not sure which ones to read.

I really like The Hollows series after the first book - it just seemed a bit hard to get into at first. There is a lot of background you have to read about to figure what's going on.

Thanks for the info, Becca. What caught my eye was all the titles being plays on classic Western movie titles.

I liked it well enough. I read that and Abe Lincoln Vamp Hunter this week, I liked them both. Nothing very substantial, though.

I'm reading The Joy Luck Club, just because I never have read the whole thing. I'm gonna pick up the Rachel Morgan series here soon.

I feel the same way. I'm almost done with it...but I started the day it came out. I should have been able to read it in one sitting. But I just didn't love first story,
    Spoiler:
    with the skinwalker.
I'll have to finish and discuss it fully in the thread, as you mentioned.

    Yeah,
    Spoiler:
the Skinwalker thing didn't really do it for me. I feel like the concept was awesome, but was kind of wasted and used as a plot point in order to get to the actual Wind Through the Keyhole story.

I ordered Catching Fire from B&N and am waiting for it to get here.

I loved the Tim Stoutheart story, the rest was just filler, to me. Maybe sai King should read Tales of Dunk and Egg and get an idea, it's kind of what he was trying to do, I think.

I just got to the Tim Southeart portion last night, only about one or two pages in.

I'm loving Roland's story so far, to be honest. Perhaps I'm being a bit biased, but I'm fascinated with anything Roland pre-Gunslinger. It's great being able to read his thought processes and his doubts through his own perspective, knowing the man he'll eventually become. Lurve it.

I'll give my full assessment once I'm finished. Do we have a thread dedicated to WTTK discussion?
